Myall-Lake is one of the most consistent rock bands in Switzerland, one that’s been playing together since 1983. During the course of the past years and their long band career, the five musicians have been able to look back upon many memorable highlights, including numerous concerts on stages big and small, at home and abroad. The trademarks of Myall-Lake are its homemade concise and dynamic rock songs, which are conveyed by an expressive lead vocal, insane guitars and intense grooves. The musicians consider themselves to be highly authentic, well-greased rock machines. They’ve survived innumerous trendy music currents and still play their vision of hard rock and in an unjaded and passionate way.
Reborn CD Release
Yet the band is more than satisfied with “Reborn”, and was actually able to find their perfect “partner in crime”, Stefan Schroff, a great guitar player and musician himself (Sandee, Felskinn). With his help, the whole creation process was brought to a new and inspired level, without anyone having to renounce the “fun-factor”.The goal was to get intensive, authentic, no-frills hard rock onto tape.The band is convinced they’ve managed to capture these special moments on tape. No compromises were made throughout the entire production, including the last steps before pressing the CD: Stefan Schroff and Patrick von Gunten couldn’t resist having the final recording mastered at the renowned Sterling Sound Studio, New York, USA, by none other than the congenial and competent George Marino, who has also refined the sound recordings of AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Coldplay, and more.
Myall-Lake, eine der beständigsten Bands der Schweiz, welche seit 1983 zusammen spielt veröffentlichen ihr neues Album "Reborn". In dieser Zeit konnten die fünf Musiker auf viele beispiellose Momente zurückblicken, sei dies auf kleinen sowie grossen Bühnen im In- oder Ausland. Ein Markenzeichen der Band sind präzise und dynamische Rocksongs, begleitet von einer klaren ausdrucksstarken Stimme. Durch die langjährige Erfahrung, ist die Band eine gut geölte und authentische Rockmaschine, welche ihre Vision von Rockmusik unbeeindruckt von Modeströmungen umsetzt und ihre Lockerheit, Freude und Kreativität über die Jahre beibehalten hat.
Neue CD Reborn
Mit "Reborn" 2009 ist die Band aber mehr als zufrieden, konnte doch mit Stefan Schroff, selber ein großartiger Gitarrist und Musiker (Sandee, Felskinn), der perfekte "Partner in Crime" gefunden werden, mit welchem der ganze Entstehungsprozess der CD auf eine neue und inspirierte Ebene gebracht werden konnte, ohne dass dabei der Spass zu kurz kam. Das Ziel war, intensiven und authentischen Hardrock ohne Schnörkel aus einem Guss auf Band zu bringen. Die Band ist überzeugt, dass es ihr dabei gelungen ist, spezielle Momente auf Band zu bannen. Bei der ganzen Produktion wurden keine Kompromisse eingegangen, so auch beim letzten Schritt vor der CD-Pressung: Stefan Schroff und Patrick von Gunten liessen es nicht nehmen, die abgeschlossenen Aufnahmen im renommierten Sterling Sound Studio, New York, USA, vom ebenso sympathischen wie kompetenten George Marino mastern zu lassen, der auch die Tonträger von AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Coldplay usw. veredelt hat.
